Details of Maintenance: An upcoming change for AggieCloud customers who connect to Rubrik for their VM backups is taking place. The URL used for accessing Rubrik backups of AggieCloud virtual machines is changing. As part of a broader initiative to enhance Rubrik services for Texas A&M University System members, we are transitioning to a new virtual environment space.

Key Points of the Change:
Effective November 25th, after 8 PM: All new AggieCloud VM backups will be performed in the new environment.

Access to Previous Backups: Backups completed prior to this date will remain available at the original URL for at least 30 days following the last backup date.

New Backup Access: Going forward, please use the new URL to access, restore, or perform instant backups of AggieCloud VMs.

Transition Period: During this interim period, backups should be accessed based on their backup date:
Use the current location (URL in direct communication) for backups made before November 25th, 8 PM
Use the new location (URL in direct communication) for backups performed after November 25th, 8 PM

Important:
This change applies only to AggieCloud VM backups. Backups for additional services (e.g., SQL servers) associated with AggieCloud are not affected.

Impact to Users: Users should not experience any interruptions in service apart from the redirection of AggieCloud VM backups to the new environment.
